Jeff first joined the Trident Process team in 2000 as a Sales Engineer and went on to become majority owner in 2014. Prior to working at Trident Process, Jeff gained industry experience working for two large sanitary distributors. Today, he enjoys the work of his dynamic, ever-changing role while also being able to build lasting relationships with manufacturers and the customers who rely on their equipment to get the job done. Jeff holds a BS in Food Science from Purdue University.

Clayton was introduced to Trident Process while working at Alfa Laval, where he managed heat exchangers for the Food, Ethanol, and Life Science markets. He enjoys learning about new chemical processes and connecting customers to innovative solutions that improve process efficiency. Clayton holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Troy joined the Trident Process team in 2024 after a 24-year career with Canaley Process Equipment as a Sales Engineer. Prior to that role, Troy gained industry experience as a Project Engineer at Central Soya, a soybean processing plant in Northern Indiana.

Today, he uses this collective experience to bridge the gap between the manufacturers represented by Trident Process and the needs of our customers — ensuring their processes and facilities are running smoothly and efficiently. Troy earned his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Trine University.

Justin came to Trident Process with 20 years of product design and heat exchange experience following his time at Alfa Laval. At Trident Process, he enjoys using his skills and invaluable insight to help customers find creative solutions that meet all their specific needs for success. Justin holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota and a MBA from the University of Sioux Falls.

Kim joined the company in 2014 when she and her husband, Jeff, became majority owners. As the Office Manager, she handles all administrative responsibilities and helps support the company through direct support, problem solving, and customer service. Kim holds a BA in Management from Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York.

Tracy joined the team after working with Trident Process from the manufacturer’s side during his time at Lightnin. As Vice President and part-owner, he leverages his industry insight to help customers navigate the challenges they face and find the best solutions for their long-term success. Tracy holds a BSME from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville and a MS in Marketing from UW – Whitewater.

Before joining Trident Process, Joshua spent more than 10 years with Alfa Laval, helping customers implement heat transfer and cooling solutions for a variety of industrial applications. He excels at combining technical knowledge with a collaborative approach to help customers identify efficient, dependable solutions for their most demanding applications. Joshua earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Shannon joined Trident Process in October 2024 after a career in IT, building a strong foundation in organization and problem-solving. She excels at combining that background with a customer-focused approach to help engineers and customers manage every step of the order process. As Order Manager and Inside Sales Support, she keeps orders on track and moving smoothly from start to finish. Shannon holds a BA in History from the University of Wisconsin–Platteville.

Garrett came to Trident Process in 2025 after five years as a Broadcast Meteorologist in Eastern Iowa, discovering along the way how naturally fluid dynamic forecasting translates to industrial applications. He enjoys using his unique background and scientific communication skills to help customers and plant engineers cut through the complexity of fluid mixing and heat transfer. Garrett holds a B.S. in Meteorology from Iowa State University.
